Happy Easter!
I hope you all had a wonderful Easter. My Mother and I were sitting around early last week trying to figure out what we did last Easter. We couldn’t remember, who came over, did we go anywhere, what did we do? I think it’s time to buy a small camera, I’ve got two large cameras, but I don’t always carry them with me. This year, I was sure not to forget the camera anywhere I went.
My mom had therapy on Friday morning so my sister ask if I would take her little one’s to a friends house that was having an Easter Egg hunt, I said sure! I’ll try to prove to the world that I’m not Anti-Social (really I’m not, I’m just a bit awkward, work a lot and have tons to do, plus my kids are all grown, so I really don’t have much to talk about other than work).
They had a blast, They ran to collect their eggs:
And they had a sack race, They lined up along a wall, I took a picture of Keegan and then took a picture of Lexi, when I moved the camera to take another picture of Keegan he was done, He had won!
On saturday we put dirt and finished up the Garden box. I’ll post about that tomorrow.
On Sunday we woke up and went to Church – They had a wonderful Easter program. Then we had Easter Dinner, and I actually had to cook. I’ve gone through a period were I hadn’t been cooking for several years (my husband does it). The last few months I’ve cooked more than I have in all those years. I made a Crab salad from a recipe I have been hunting down for a while, I got it, and It was Oh so good.
Then more Egg Hunting, and some sitting around as a family, It’s all so normal, nothing big nothing overly exciting, that probably why we couldn’t remember any GREAT details.
My sisters kids, My kids and my big bro in the back!
This is when you know you are getting old, bunny rabbits older brother.
Keegan says “Hey that’s mine!”
My daughter and I.
My nephew and I.
I hope that you all had a wonderful Easter. We are here to Live, Love and have Joy, and we can do this because Jesus gave himself so that we can.
