I need a new routine…
As you can tell there haven’t been any post here since the 2nd week in May. The beginning of the 3rd week in May I started interviewing with The Westin for a Night Audit position at The Westin Desert Willow Villas in Rancho Mirage. For a week my head was spinning and my stomach was churning and by Monday May 21 I was working 11PM to 7 AM 5 days a week. Plus I still have my day job, which someone has already been hired to replace me, I just need to train her. And I was called to be the 2nd counsler in the Young Women’s Presidency. And (drum roll) my daughter got her mission call! Needless to say I’ve been hopping along at very quick pace.
I am glad to be able to work and have the employer pay the taxes and be able to contribute to a 401k, because lets face it I’m not getting any younger. Plus this is a beautiful property, the sunrises over the desert mountains on this property are amazing:
I am truly grateful to be able to work with the Young Women of the church. I’m also grateful for all the wonderful blogs that dedicate their time to providing visuals, treats and ideas for the Young Women program, my first lesson went a million times better than it would have with the help of Steadfast and Immovable.
I will write more about the day job later when the process of shifting over is more on track. But about the Mission Call I will write tomorrow! It has taken my 3 weeks but I think I now have a plan in place to be able to blog, sew and produce more patterns, plus juggling work, home and my church calling.
Plus my husband and daughter have been crafting without me and there are some posts in pending. We’re still here just going through some life changes. Thank you for sticking around.
