Orzo/Garbanzo salad
My husband is retired so he does the cooking. He always tries to make different food, but some of the stuff he comes up with on his own, well it creative I’ll say that. I finally got him to join pinterest so that he can access my boards. I pinned an Orzo with Chick peas salad from Food.com it was delicious. Clicking on pic will take you to the recipe.

But I will let him tell you his first time with garbanzo story:
As my wife was saying, I expiriment with a lot recipies and some times they are awsome, sometimes they are not (a good portion are on the not side). She said she saw a recipe on pintirest of a pasta and garbonzo bean salad, I was like what the heck are garbonzo beans (Aka chick peas) so told her I wood make the salad. I started out with a small pan like good little peas they doubled in size. So I moved them to a bigger pan, low and behold, they out grew the medium pot, again they continued growing in size. I said this rediculous and grabbed a large pan, These @#$%^& beans quadrupled in size. I cooked them at a boil for probably an hour. and beleive it or not they were under cooked…Next time I will stick with what I know (Mac and cheese with hot dogs.)

January 25, 2013It worked really good for lunch and I didn’t have to worry about heating it up. Just kept it cool so the feta wouldn’t melt.
